The four authors reside in Indianapolis and attend the same church (East 91st St. Christian Church). The book’s concept came when, as writers for their singles’ group newsletter, they saw that others might benefit from their stories, artist interviews, and pastoral challenges. For two years, they dedicated themselves to meeting weekly to develop that concept, pray for each other as well as their future readers, and to munch Fritos and other crunch-worthy snacks.

The book features interviews with over 20 Christian artists (such as Avalon, Rich Mullins and others) and noted speakers such as Dennis Rainey and Larry Burkett.

Lana Trent

     Lana is known for her humorous one-liners and for being an advocate for single-sensitive issues. She is a Christian music buff who loves to travel. A computer consultant, Lana has an undergraduate degree from Purdue University in communications and psychology and her MBA from Indiana University. She has held several leadership positions within the church’s singles ministry as well as other areas of the church. She presently leads a women’s Bible study group and is one of the co-founders of Circle City Singles.
     Lana's work has appeared in several publications and spoken at various religious conventions/retreats on the topics of singleness and information systems.

Dana Anders Hueftle

     Dana currently serves as the interim worship leader for her church. Dana’s love is ministering through music, and she is passionate about leading worship and singing in a local contemporary Christian vocal group.
     Known for her Dana-isms, like calling something "Daner-friendly," Dana spends most of her time laughing and catching up with friends and her husband, Jonathan.  She also enjoys traveling, swimming, writing, watching basketball and gymnastics and attending big band concerts. She is often seen consuming large bowls of ice cream and is most content hanging out with family.

Chris Conti

      Chris earned a journalism degree from Indiana State University and now is in her seventh year of teaching high school journalism. She has a passion for working with youth and missions and enjoys her annual trips to Mexico with teens to build houses for those less fortunate. She loves photography, writing, and desktop publishing, but expresses most of her creativity through teaching those subject areas.
     Chris became a Christian as a junior in high school and grew mostly in her college years with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. An avid volleyball player, Chris also enjoys softball and swimming.

Nathan Clement

     Nathan is an art director for an advertising agency. He majored in his two favorite things, art and writing, at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. Nathan has designed books for computer users—you’ve probably used one— and chases down creative freelance work. He created the informational graphics and cover  for Single & Content and designed the logo for Circle City Singles.  He hopes to illustrate children’s books soon.
    Married to Greta, Nathan now enjoys the challenges of home ownership.
